Halo movie, (still) Finishing the Fight

/film reports that, via Peter Jacksons representative Ken Kamins, Microsoft is in talks with other movie studios regarding a possible Halo movie. Preparations for the movie are still on-going at Weta, the guys behind the motion-capture in Heavenly Sword.

It only seems right that the biggest entertainment launch in history(Halo 3 racked up nearly $300 million in its first week of sales, around $180 million on its first day) get its own movie incarnation. It seems that Microsoft is simply ironing out the kinks. This is probably a sure thing.

  1. I don’t like FPS. Never could get the hang of ’em.

That being said, I would love to see a Halo movie. It would be something Halo related I could actually do.
